SURGICAL DERMATOLOGY

Skin lesions can or sometimes need to be removed. This can be done by flattening without sutures or by excision with sutures under local anesthesia.

Certain lesions, depending on their location and/or size,
may be sent to the plastic surgeon for excision in a hospital environment.
