The purpose of the face and neck lift is to re-tension the skin muscles and the skin of the face and to remove excess skin. The cervicofacial lifting makes it possible to redraw the oval of the face, to smooth the neck, to reduce nasolabial folds and bitterness folds to find a more harmonious oval. Liposuction of the neck is often associated at the same time of operation, which allows better definition of the oval of the face. Depending on the extent of the sagging skin, a minilifting of the face and neck will be performed.
This less invasive technique, called minilifting, corrects sagging skin on the face which is just beginning, such as the appearance of jowls or a few peribuccal folds when smiling. The cervicofacial minilifting is generally intended for patients under the age of 50. The surgical procedure can be performed under local anesthesia at operating theater. Facelifting of the face and neck makes it possible to find a more harmonious or rested face, with a less tired appearance while keeping natural expressions.
Blepharoplasty, or eyelid lift, removes excess skin and fat from the upper and lower eyelids. Over time, excess skin may appear which obscures the natural crease of the upper eyelids and which can impair vision. Puffiness can also appear on the lower eyelids.
Surgery is tailored to the needs of each patient, whether it is a little extra skin on the upper eyelid or clumps of fat on the lower eyelids.
Lipofilling, or reinjection of autologous fat, is a surgical technique for filling with fat.
Used for aesthetic or restorative purposes, it restores volume to hollowed out or flattened areas of the body or face.
The aim of the intervention is therefore to reinject the patient’s fat to fill natural or post-traumatic depressions (hollows). It is therefore a true autograft of fat cells by reinjection of the fat taken from the patient himself.
