DARK CIRCLES

Dark circles make us appear tired, exhausted, sick and older than we are.

Some of the main causes of the formation of dark circles are hereditary factors, aging, dry skin, long hours of work in front of the computer, mental or physical stress, lack of sleep and an unhealthy diet.

Men and women of different age groups can have dark circles.

You can easily get rid of it with 2 techniques that can be combined.

Improved skin quality with platelet-rich plasma (PRP)

Platelet-rich plasma is derived from the patient’s own blood and contains several cell growth and regeneration factors. Since it is taken from the patient, there is no risk of allergies or complications.

PRP works by improving collagen production and blood supply to areas where it is lacking, which is ideal for those who suffer from genetic dark circles. As skin quality improves with PRP treatment, thin eyelid skin becomes healthier and thicker and therefore covers more of the subcutaneous blood vessels responsible for the unsightly discoloration.

It can also help those who have damaged and dry skin due to lifestyle activities that require them to be exposed to the sun’s rays.

Combination of hyaluronic acid and platelet-rich plasma (PRP)

The combination of an injection of hyaluronic acid and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a synergistic approach that improves the effectiveness of both fillers. Hyaluronic acid  adds volume to the hollow area under the skin, while PRP increases skin thickness.

With the overall improvement of PRP on skin quality, the skin under the eyes adds radiance and a healthy glow. The PRP also adds volumetric improvement. Interestingly, when PRP and hyaluronic acid are combined, the longevity of both products becomes longer.
